Canon 7D Projected

Sure it has been discussed to death but I wanted to share my experience. My first feature film had it's premiere a few days ago. I shot it on the Canon 7D and it projected on the 30 foot screen looking great. In fact, it was projected via Blu Ray and then we had to switch to DVD for tech reasons but I couldn't tell the difference, the DVD looked great. I think the biggest difference I did notice is the text on the credits wasn't as sharp. I'm pretty impressed and happy with the Canon 7D and it's ability to project nicely. That's it. On to the Blackmagic!

Great, great job, great shots and I love the trailer, congratulations.

Yeah, congrats, man! I've been pretty curious to see footage from my 7d projected on a big screen, but so far haven't had the opportunity. Good luck with the feature and hopefully it opens more doors for you.

Thanks for the congrats guys.
My film won a director's Platinum Remi for Best Feature Film under 100k at WorldFest Houston. This is one of the top awards for features at the fest.
My budget was hilariously less than that.
Apparently, a Remi award is something Steven Spielberg won at some point in his career.

@New Zealand: I edited in Sony Vegas Pro 9.
