Canon 7D audio suggestion

Hey all, what would you suggest using for recording audio when shooting with a 7D? Since Magic Lantern hasn't come out with a firmware yet, I'm kind of curious what you all would suggest. I'd love to wait for the Magic Lantern firmware but I'm needing to shoot with audio in one month. I own a wireless lav system, boom mic and an XLR input box (not sure what it's called but it allows me to transfer the audio into the camera).

What would you suggest if recording separate audio and then bringing it together in post? I'm shooting a lot of interviews.

Thanks in advance.

How about a Zoom H4n? Dual XLR / 6.5 mm inputs, phantom power, recording directly to SD card. The only problem might be slight drift over long takes (maybe 0.5% in an hour or so) but that's an inherent problem with the different clocks inside the devices.

Hmmm

Hmmm

AndrewGentle, that's a great option but it's $300 and I'm trying to find something else for cheaper. $200 is my limit. Do you know of any other products out there that would work.

Also, you can't record longer than 12 minute takes with the Canon 7D. So, the audio drifting wouldn't be a problem that I can see.

If you know of anything other products let me know. Thanks.

The Zoom H2 hits the budget mark and has native audio quality similar to the H4n, but the H4n has much more flexibility for connecting other mics, etc.
