Canon 7d and Wide Angle lenses Please HELP!

I am looking to purchase a wide angle lens. I know canon makes 10-22 but i don't think its compatible with the 7d. Tokina makes a 12-24 sigma makes a 10-20 and tamron makes a 11-18. I dont know anything about 3rd party lenses please help me choose which wide angle to go with. If there other options please tell me thanks.
 
Canon's 10-22 is EF-S, so it is compatible with the 7d and its cropped sensor. I bought the Tokina 11-16 2.8 and it's a great lens- built like a tank and nice optics-also EF-S (Tokina's version AT-X).

I second the Tokina. Personally own it and love it for the same reason as above. I'm not aware of any other APS-C ultra-wide angle that has constant f2.8. That alone sealed the deal for me. I know I'm losing a little bit of range either end compared to the competition from Canon, Sigma and Tamron but the aperture is so worth it. f2.8 will save your butt, and if you ever been in a situation where it has saved your butt, you'll wonder why you ever bothered with anything less.
 
I'm personally trying to avoid EFS lenses because I know I'll be upgrading to a full frame sometime in the future. Because of that I just grabbed a sigma 14mm rectilinear prime and I love it.

i also own and use the tokina 11-16 on my 7D. the constant aperature @ f2.8 is lovely! this lens is a gem!!
 
Anyone have a line on the Tokina 11-16, please send a brotha a message. Those things are out of stock EVERYWHERE.
