Canon 7d-3d

Whilst I'm not one for the 3d hype. Something to consider, the Panasonic SDT750 camcorder shoots 3d video with the help of the "VW-CLT1 3D Conversion Lens". Considering it must just be a regular lens, that does some sort of magic with the image. I'm wondering if anyone's figured out if its worthwhile to mount onto a 7d package.

Maybe too much work for the result, but it would be very interesting to see.

Two basic ways - 2 7Ds with identical lenses, or one 7D with an image splitter. Splitter the cheaper, easier solution, but you loose 1/2 your resolution when you use it.

I would love to shoot 3D, but basically, I thinks it's too much trouble to do it without a dedicated 3D camera. And the one you list just doesn't cut it in any way shape or form for pros....

Which is sad.
