Just bought the 70D, mainly for stills but I'd like it to use as a side angle B-camera for interviews. Are there any settings that will help match it with a C100 shooting in WDR setting?

Thank you

Try out the Technicolor profile. I just installed it today but haven't tryed it yet. It could match Wide DR fairly close.

Cinestyle Technicolor is way better because not only pull more stops but also gives less noise on shadows and darks

I gave it a shot today. So many different ways to do this so I decided to use the Technicolor Profile on the 70D. It's flatter than Wide DR is on the C100.

Below is the ungraded comparison. The Technicolor Profile is pretty flat however the color isn't that far off. A little more green is present in the C100 image.

Below is a graded 70D image compared to Wide DR ungraded.

This was a quick grade in Premiere Pro CC and Colorista II and settings below.

I just shot for two days using the C100 and 70d and we shot hours of footage. I havent messed around with it in post yet but by looking at it, it does not look to be too far off color wise. I tried a bunch of different cameras to match as a B roll and this one works the best in my opinion. But I am no expert or pro at this yet, but again the footage looks pretty good. I used Techicolor Cine style by the way on the 70D and shot in WDR.
