I'm thinking about purchasing a Canon 60D and have a few questions about the camera, lenses, and software.
First, it appears that the camera does not have the kind of interval timer I have on my Panasonic HMC40 where I can set it to take one image every second, ten seconds, or even every minute (like for capturing clouds moving). Is it true that the 60D does not do this? If not, does the Magic Lantern software provide it?
Second, there are both Canon EF lenses and Canon EF-S lenses. I've read that the EF lenses will work on higher end Canon cameras (like the 5DMarkII and the 7D), but that the EF-S lenses won't. Is that the main difference or for the same focal length and aperture is the quality of the glass different between the two?
Lastly, is there a way to preserve the software that comes with the 60D so that if the Magic Lantern software is problematic or I want to reset the camera to its original state this might be possible?
Thanks in advance for your advice.
