Canon 5D III (Magic Lantern Raw) VS Sony a7R II

Ever tried to have it upres'ed to 4K? There are some YouTube videos that claim these two are a good match.

That's totally incredible. I wasn't aware that ML built in these fix choices. Things have really moved on with them.
How's the stability of ML these days ?

as well as other films with ML raw. "FEAR" has several shots near the end with the girl holding a candle where I shot ISO 4800 or even 6400. Neat video does wonder in cleaning up these shots and while 6400 is pushing it 3200 ain't bad.

On my new film I was set on using the URSA mini 4.6k but damnit now I'm thinking about staying with the 5D3 ML raw.... Hmmm

5D3 raw is a masterpiece. And the fact it can run for over 20 mins without hitting is overheat threshold is quite impressive id not remarkable for a dslr. 5d3, fs700. Best things to be announced in 2012. ML raw for the 5d and the odyssey for the fs700 still make them serious contenders and the fact ml raw is free easily makes the 5D3 the best piece of equiptment for overall use and longevity. Plus the micron Size and the fact you can triple any lenses focal Distance with minimal loss makes me pick it over the a7r hands down. Video beast
