Hi,
i was wondering what you would choose between canon 24mm f2.8 STM (150$) or nikkor 24mm f2.8 AIS (200-250$ or more)

I heard Nikkor could give a more cinematic look than any canon or canon l-lenses, zeiss etc.

What are your thoughts?

Well Nikon makes great lenses, but I wouldn't say they're better then Zeiss. Nikons are popular for video because they're sharp, pretty cheap, and kept manual aperture rings on their lenses through the 90s (which are pretty easy to de-click). FYI, Nikons focus in the opposite direction of Canons. All my lenses are Nikons, except for my Tokina 11-16mm and Hasselblad (Zeiss) 80mm. I'd suggest sticking with one brand for most of your lenses, using lenses from several manufacturers can effect your color temperature because of the different lens coatings used.
