Canon 24-105 Zoom Ring

I just bought a used EF 24-105 lens. It is in perfect working and cosmetic condition. Only thing I am wondering about is if someone knows how stiff the zoom ring should be.

On my lens, if I have it set to wide and aim the camera down, the front element slowly extends to the tele end. Anything from 80 to 90 degrees up or down, gravity takes over.

Anyone else have this lens and have the same problem?
 
Thats a common issue with a lot of zooms. Problem is if Canon were to "tighten" it up, it likely would not be very smooth when you are trying to zoom it.
 
Supposedly its a very easy fix, try googling it. From what I heard you move the rubber zoom band and tighten a screw thats under it.
