Yes... I honestly hope they are ready to deliver if they announce something.

I have my fears, but at the same time, it's time to bring the 1Dc up to 1Dx level firmware wise. That speaks for at least a firmware release, even if they announce something hardware related too.
 
I've seen just a few post online the last few weeks about a major 1DC firmware upgrade to be announced at NAB. Besides bringing it up to par with the 1DX, any speculators out there? :)
 
I would be concerned about Canon coming out with some new Cinema DSLR. My guess is that is why Canon has finally discounted this camera.
 
I heard Panasonic is buying Canon and discontinuing the full frame cinema camera and just offering the GH4. Ha! Sorry it's April fools and thats the best I can do......

Depending on what updates Canon announces at NAB for the 1D C, I may pick one of these up at the reduced price.

I had received an email a month or two ago about the price drop to $10k plus a lens included in the deal too! I was bummed and deleted it straight away pissed off thinking it meant Canon was trying to get rid of them to discontinue hahaha
