C100: Canon 18 - 135mm thoughts?

Hi guys,

I know this is Canon 18 - 135mm is a kit lens and not pro, but i'm interested on your thoughts regarding IQ.

As the C100 is so sharp i am prepared to drop to a general purpose kit lens for a project I'm currently shooting and I cant afford changing lenses and miss any moments. I'm finding the 24 - 105 not quite wide enough and the 17 - 50 not enough reach for close ups etc.

Any comments regarding real world shooting with this lens on the C100/300 would be much appreciated.

I have it as it came as a kit lens with the 70D. Honestly, the lens is not too bad. In fact, it's quite decent. Works great with one touch focus. Nice and light and I think it's a great run and gun lens. And if you upgrade to dual pixel next year you WILL want this lens. FOr the price, it performs quite nicely.
