I have tried and tried, read and re-read the manuals, but I cannot seem to get my A1 recognized by Final Cut Express 4 in order to Print to Tape. I've tried turning on the camera first, then opening FCE4. I'm trying to print to tape an HDV 24F project. I'm using a firewire with a pre-Intel G5 Mac.
Any help appreciated. Also, would be willing to try any workarounds just to get the project onto tape somehow. Should I try to downconvert to SD, for instance?
By the way, I'm working with Final Cut Express, not Final Cut Pro.
