Cancun - Shot on Kinefinity Terra 6K

Color looks pretty nice, but those highlights look really rough, what highlight DR and ISO mode was this in? Looks to me like a 3 or 4 stop hard clip...

Yes I know, I was talking about the OP.

I don't see much artifacting in the police lights you mentioned... Usually bright primary colors is where a lot of cameras fall apart but those aren't even that bright on their faces. I sense a hint of a weird tone from the blue light in a later two shot but nothing obviously offensive and I'm very sensitive to primary color highlight issues, I've been fighting it on Sony cameras for years and some RED cameras more recently.
 
Artifact is not in the police light. That was a reference for Anatusa to find the right clip. Saw it days ago so I don't remember precisely what it was about. Look in the black all around them (before restoring an s curve). Kind of a fixed pattern issue (pretty prominent to my eyes)
 
Yeah, this was my first time using the camera so it took a little to figure it out. Also I shot this in 4K which is only 14 stops DR. I'll see if I can get a couple test clips together for Golden 3K since it's 16 stops. Usually the roll off is pretty nice though. Also the colors are what's most appealing to me.

Maybe a simple black cal could have solved this, don't know.

thank you for your replay! i noticed the horizontal lines on a day light "field" clip .... seems like its a blue noise and lines from it. but maybe something else. but could u plz be a little more specific and point to where to look at other clips, as i did not find it my self...

Not sure I understand. I just suggested you go here http://www.kinefinity.com/shots-recall-by-terra/?lang=en then click here: "footages download (dropbox)" and download the last clip. There you can see those unappealing lines. Don't know about other clips.
