Has anyone taken some footage to a professional post house and tried to remove the SSE? I imagine it is possible, but I'd love to know the results if anyone has done it. Thank you.

mezelf27 said:Well, by cheap I don't mean the $10.000 that it costs over here in Europe, I'm just making a reference to the price of the other full-resolution progressive HD camcorders (Varicam, Cinealta...). The JVC is defenately cheap in comparison...
Stevet said:Good point, but in my opinion $6,000.00 is not cheaper gear in my book. Especially since much cheaper gear does not have a split screen issue.
Stevet said:Regardless, I find it hard to believe they could not come up with a solution when engineering the camera.
