Can OnLocation clips be imported in Avid XpressPro?

Can OnLocation clips be imported in Avid XpressPro?
Is a special codec needed, must Premiere be installed?


Which OnLOcation format must be used recording?
Must clips always be imported to Avid or can OnLocation record MXF?


Has anybody actually worked with OnLocation and Avid and successfully imported OnLocation clips into Xpress?
 
On location does not record "MXF", you can record to .mov quicktime files and edit in Avid XpressPro HD.

Avid XpressPro HD reads from MXF files also.

We have done it (not always because we use Premiere Pro + Cineform's Aspect HD)
