Can I use different lenses on the A1?

I am thinking about buying a XH-A1, and I have some questions.

First will I be able to use different lenses in this camera, if so how, do I need an adapter of some sort?

And If I could get a used AG-HVX200 DVCPRO HD for roughly the same price what would be best for someone whos beginning to use HD cameras?

Perhaps you are confusing the XH-A1 (fixed lens) with the XL-H1 (which has an interchangeable lens mount).

Whether one of the Canons or the Panasonic HVX200 would work better for you depends on what you want to do with the camera. They are entirely different cameras.
 
Thanks for the prompt reply. I Have been doing my research around this site. However I Still Havent made up my mind. I would basically intend to shoot shorts and maybe some Documentaries. From what I read the HVX 200 is probably the best choice. Since it has true HD feature while the A1 is HDV.
But still I keep my Question what camera should I choose?
