Can I Remove My Focus Ring?

Hi,
I got sand in my focus ring I think and when i rotate it there is a point when it makes a noise. It still works but I want to make it better like it was before I got sand in it.

Is there a way to take off the focus ring that doesn't involve being a panasonic tech?
