also, if you go the P2 route, you will need some kind of device that will read the card, and transfer the data to a hard drive. You can use the camera as a P2 reader, but that will really slow your production down, having to stop every ten minutes or so to connect your camera to your computer, and offload the footage.
The P2 store is expensive (around $1,800), and plain P2 readers are even more expensive. If you have a laptop with a PCMCIA slot, that would probably be your best bet.
One more thing to keep in mind: HD footage takes up a lot of space. You will need a large enough HD to store or archive your raw footage.
