Can I focus preset with touching the camera?

I want to use focus preset when I'm zoomed almost fully onto a distant object. Even with a good tripod I get some camera shake when I have to press and slide the PRESET ON/SET switch. I was surprised to find that I couldn't use the remote control to do this.

Does anyone know a way I can use focus preset and minimise any camera shake?

i think you should get a better tripod or be more gentle with pushing the button :) when you work zoomed in a lot, you always risk of having shaky footage, that is normal..
