can i attach eos lens on xh a1s?

hi friends,

i would like to know, can i attach lens like 50mm 1.8 on my xh a1s? if yes, what do i need? adapter? which one?

It's possible with a depth of field adapter, but those things are obsolete now. Are you trying to achieve narrow depth of field? Because thats the only real benefit of trying to stick another lens in front of your fixed lens on your XHA1. You'd be better off just getting a DSLR.
 
thanks for the reply....i guess u r right...i did better get a dslr probably t2i/t3i....but my only concern is about matching the footage in terms of resolution. xh a1s is 1440x1080 and dslr are 1920x1080.
 
Just export both at the same settings...the xha1 will be much sharper in any case. But if you are just using the DSLR for shallow beauty shots on people and the a1 for wide shots and action sequences, you should be able to match them up. Esp with the color controls on the a1...use those to match the DSLR.
