Can HD and SD be mixed in the same timeline using FCP6?

I am editing a video and am using FCP 6, but i shooot in 720/60 and i have another filmer that captured some clips in SD on a diff camera, is there a possibility that i can edit them both in the same timeline?
 
yeah, you can mix both on an fcp timeline. its probably not going to look good though.

there are a couple hoops you can jump through in apples compressor to uprez the SD and then there are retail products like "instant HD"
