Can Gini Rig + GH2 with 20mm lens work?

Basically I do wedding videography as a side job. Things have been growing like crazy for me. Basically cause there are not a lot of people doing quality work in MS. Well I am now starting to move away from my Panasonic HMC 150's and starting to use GH2's. I have been moving over slowly over the last four weddings so I can learn everything. Now I want to step up to the next level and get a simple Gini Rig. But with me doing wedding stuff, I mostly just use the 20mm 1.7f prime lens because of its low light abilities. But I'm worried that if I use a shoulder mounted rig like Gini, you would see the rods and stuff. Because the lens is wide and very short. Also looking to add a Follow Focus.

Any thoughts?

No problem with the rod system and the rig.
Why are you going for the Gini one?
Check out Express35, they have some really good stuff. (I own the Run'n'gun trio which gives me a great versatility. I can go from handheld to shoulder style in seconds.
