Can Cine lenses like this be successfully adapted to the Canon T2i / 550D?

I don't think so. This lens appears to have been designed for 16mm cinema cameras like Bolex. I would imagine that it would seriously vignette on the much larger sensor of the T2.

Correct, but not only that, there's no way you could fit a c-mount lens on a Canon because the flange focal distance is too short. The lens would have to sit inside the camera body, and then the SLR's mirror would get in the way. You can adapt these kinds of lenses to an m43 camera because they don't have mirrors and have shorter lens-to-sensor depth, but you can't put them on a Canon or Nikon because the FFD is too large.

Interesting. Thanks! So, this lens would work with the Panasonic Gh2? Would it vignette on it and would the adapter lose light? One of the main reasons I don't wanna go with a GH2 is due to the ability to use a fast wide lens. 12mm would be 24mm on that which I think would be wide enough. Plus, it's super fast....as long as an adapter cause it too lose too much light.

C-mpunt lenses have a relatively short flange focus distance, much shorter than any DSLR with a reflex mirror, so you would not be able to adapt it. They can be adapted to micro 4/3 because it has no mirror system a very shallow flange focus depth too. C-mount lenses made for 1" video cameras will cover 4/3 without vignetting, some 16mm/2/3" lenses, typically 25mm and longer will also cover 4/3, but not the wide angle ones.
