There is one set of movie lenses that will cover full frame 35mm, and that's the Zeiss Compact Primes. (because, basically, they're re-housed SLR lenses). Is it possible that some 35mm movie lenses would cover it?
Well, even so, the same restriction against using PL mount lenses applies. The mirror box in all the DSLRs will conflict with actual movie lenses that use the PL mount, except for certain lenses (usually the most-telephoto lenses.)Hi,
Thank you very much all.
I think it will be better for me to go with the 7D then.

If you want to use PL-mount lenses, you don't really want a Canon or any mirror-box SLR, unless you're willing to have it permanently modified by removing the mirror box.

But even then, I don't think the widest-angle 18mm covers the full frame entirely.
