Can 24PN footage mix with 24P footage?

Im shooting in 720 24P/24N mode.
I can't seem to get my FS-100 to capture in P2PN or in Quicktime PN, so I'd be capturing to it in normal P2 mode. Everything that i shoot straight to my P2 cards would be shot in 24PN (to save space).
I'll be editing in FCP. latest version.

What issues do you have with the pN settings in the FS?
Are you using v.3 of the firmware?
Have you set your cam to P, not PN?

I have updated the firmware to V3.
The camera is set to 24p, not pn. Whenever I capture to the FS in PN my audio and video are out of sync when I import the files.
My plan to get around this was to shoot to the FS in 24p mode (the files might be bigger, but i'll deal). Then, when I'm shooting to my P2 cards I'll be shooting in PN mode.
Will I have any problems mixing both forms of footage together once i bring it into FCP?
