I think you might be S.O.L., especially in Baja. Been down there a lot for surfing over the years, and I couldn't imagine a camera place there that could fix Canons. It's very basic. Most 3rd world countries do not have places to repair stuff like cameras.
Bummer, I just made 8 trips up and down Mex Hwy 1 during the pre and post Baja 1000....coulda had it fixed and delivered in a week! I have many friends in Baja, might be able to help, email me at dirtnewz@me.com
