C300: Camera mic for C70 & C300 Mark III

I saw today that Kondor Blue is taking preorders on their new C70 accessories. I'm not familiar with the company, and I don't know when they expect to ship, but it might be worth checking out. https://kondorblue.com/collections/canon/products/canon-c70-cage?variant=32665809485872

Edit: Their site states that they will ship late March 2021.
That top plate and handle does look better than the Smallrig and Zacuto offerings primarily because of the bubble level and record start/stop on the handle. In the photos there is no cable going from the top handle to the camera. I imagine the hot (if it is hot) shoe could theoretically be connected to enable record start and stop, but I don't see the handle being directly connected to the hot shoe, so I assume there'd have to be a dangling cable that may make top handle's start/stop recording perhaps not worth the hassle?

I don't understand why Canon only put one screw on the bottom of the camera from front to back, and then two screws from side to side. Most baseplates go front to back, so this means there's now more needed for two baseplates, one like what Smallrig, Condor Blue, or Zacuto have, and then the second going onto the camera, which is a pain. The C70 is deeper than a DSLR so there is plenty of room to have put two screw holes in front and back.

I did a mic test with the C300 Mark III. Let me know if ya'll have preferences.

Auto gain control is on. Levels adjusted in post to get the different mics to similar audio levels as they had different levels of sensitivity. No post processing.
