CAMERA DOLLY for 7d

I have something VERY similar I made myself from wood and skateboard wheels/axles.
Mine just goes straight, but works well for what it does. I like the way the axles turn on this though. Certainly might be worth it for product sales shots.
 
would you mind posting pictures? I would love to see that setup

Probably just as smooth as the one in the ebay add. Totally depends on the surface you're on. but the turnable wheels on the ebay one would be a nice advantage.
 
this just got added to the to get list after i checked that 3rd video out, 2 by 8 and 2 short step laters and you got a very mobile dolly....
 
I got a skateboard for $15 - cant see its a lot different (undid some of the truck bolts to give me turn)

Note how the shots are on a billiard table

ever heard the phrase 'smooth as a billieard table'

possibly the only place it works - and kitchen counters

with no track a dolly needs to be on a very very very flat surface
