Camera Case for DVX100A

Re: Camera Case for DVX100A

I picked up an eye chamois from Filmtools the other day. I wasn't too keen on the rubber cement so I popped the eye cup off the camera and worked it into the eye chamois. It fits fine without the glue. Haven't field tested it much yet but I'm sure it will serve its purpose as we continue to shoot in this mid-90s heat, here in Burbank.

Just when I thought I had all that carryon legal stuff beat, they hit me with this 14LB limit for carryon on International flights! I wonder how long until the Domestic flights start that?

Now you have to pull that camera and all the video tapes out and put them in those plastic trays too.

Yes, Petrol. I drug it to England and back. It carried the DVX w/ shotgun, anamorphic, W/A, LCD hood, lots of tape, two Lectro 100's, charger, five D54 batteries... and a 17" Powerbook!

I dont know how people shoot without them.[/quote]

BandPro (16x9) sells them...

Re: Camera Case for DVX100A

Did we ever come to a conclusion about the Cinebag being allowed for carry on?

Re: Camera Case for DVX100A

I just got the Pelican 1510 case so I'm covered if I ever need to fly with it (there's no way I'd trust baggage handlers, so now I can carry it with me). I love it. Totally bullet proof. BTW, I got it at EVS. With the dvxuser.com discount it was cheaper than cases4less.com.
