just wondering what kind of bags you guys use/ rec recommend for the dvx?. I'm looking into the backpack ones but am not sure what one best fits the dvx?

Some people swear by the Ogio Ty backpacks. I have a Porta Brace BK-N1 backpack for my DVX that holds pretty much everything I need.

I just got the Panasonic AG-Yuc100 case. It is custom fit to hold the DVX100. Plus, it has the cool DV Pro Line Logo on the front.

LowePro Camera bag with the laptop insert, find one used or on sale. Hands down the best bag ever (IMO) tons of room and mine isnt even full yet. Plus you can carry around your laptop if needed for shoots in the conveinent storage pocket!

What is the model #? I might return the hard case because there's only room for 4 batteries and a few small accessories + camera.

The Kata R-103 can hold a DVX, four batteries, a charger, a Firestore, an extra lens, an NTG-1, a few tapes, and all cables. It was $133 when I bought it. You can use this to find out when the price will change again. (Amazon's price fluctuations are annoying.)

It's as strong as a tank and has a yellow interior. It comes with tripod attachments.

thanks guys, i ended up getting a lowepro bag with the laptop insert. it fits great and i have lots of room for extras

I use a Pelican Case. The largest one they allow as a carry on on the plane. I used to use a backpack but it was too nerve wracking when traveling with it because sometimes you can put it under the seat in front of you and other times they force you to throw it in an overhead bin, and because I travel a lot with my camera (just did this past weekend), I decided a hard case was the way to go. I do wish I could just do a backpack though.
