You really should indicate in the title that this has no hot women in it. Calvin Klein had me anxious, all over nothing.

I hope you're joking. This website is a place where we can share our work, if you need to jerk off, go to a porn site. Thanks for trolling.

I donʻt think anyone would say that seriously haha.

Incredible work though! You made DSLR footage not look like a DSLR, but something more, which is what I am always after.

Thanks for the inspiration!

lol, i also read his comment as sarcastic, not serious.

I thought your spot was absolutely fantastic. Very professional. Makes me wish I could shoot like that.

Care to elaborate on the lighting?

Yeah, we used three Leeko Source 4 750's for our lights interior lights. Lighting Ratio is about 1:3. We used diffusion outside, as well as the Leeko lights for that extra fashiony look.

I'm not overtly familiar with shooting fashion in a motion picture environment... are Leko's common? I can't remember the last time I put my hands on one, aside from blasting one or two into cookies or snoots.

Do you use them often?

I'm being mentored by DP Eric Steelberg (DP for Juno, 500 Days of Summer) since last October, and he's taught me to love them. He uses them all the time. I always have at least 4 on hand for any shoot. They do some amazing things over distance, and the quality of light is very natural, like magic hour light.

Quite interesting. I've asked around and they sound like they'll fit into my workflow as bounce sources, especially in tight spaces.

Going to have to start playing with them.

Is most of this bounce, as far as interior goes or are you popping them through difs?

Nope, that's all straight light from the fixtures. no bounce, no diff. We might have put 1/8th or quarter blue on (i can't remember) But, they are great for those purposes!

here, check this out: here's a long alternate cut that I messed around with, with some extra footage/angles:

Nice. Looks like something a DSLR shoot would look like. Planned Casual.
Wish we could see more adverts like this- instead of the hyper-slick treatments we're constantly fed. Gamma seemed a tad neutral to me. Centrist lighting?

define "centrist lighting".
