C300: Call of Duty Fan Film

Looks great, and very awesome. I'm still waiting for some RAM in the mail so I can get the new COD going, silly game is addictive.

Care to comment on lighting or other equipment used?

Cheers,

Thanks guys! Crew was minimal, only a few non-production-regular volunteers helping out. Worst part was I didn't have an AC, but the director's a good buddy of mine and an After-Effects wizard so with a little bit of elbow grease we got it done.

Lighting:
2x Open face 1k
Arri Tungsten kit (various 150 & 300)
2x 4x4 Kinos
2x LEDZ Brute 16's w/chimeras
2x LEDZ Brute 9's

Used the 1k's as hard back edge for the earlier scenes. The LEDZ Brute 16's we're my go to light for alost everything else, double armed the units over the actors for that nice wrap around. 150 Arri's and LEDZ brute 9 were used to light up the scenery on the walls. 4x4 kino salt/peppered for the sword fight scene.

- Large windows of main location were covered with Opal Frost diffusion and 3 stop ND gels, which created a cool blue glow during the day. That's natural daylight lighting them up.
- The molotov cocktail scene was just a single 1k through diffusion straight down on the table.
- Used a halloween fogger to texture the air, surpisingingly the fog lit up blue no matter what light I put through it. Director loved it so I didn't try to correct.
- Pumped up the shutter to as high as 90 degrees for some of the action sequences. Think I maxed out my ISO at 2500.
- L-Lenses Canon 16-35mm, 24mm, 50mm, 70-200mm and rokinon 85mm
