C100: Calisse + Morgan, shot with 2x C100s

Here is a wedding I just finished which was filmed with a couple C100s, a GH2, and 5D Mark III. GH2 was the back center camera for the ceremony, and 5D III was guest reaction shots. I rented the second C100, so this was my first wedding using multiple C100s, which was nice not having to mix nearly as much footage with lesser cameras.

Comments and constructive criticism welcome.

All I can think when watching that is "They really nailed the audio!". Did you have people just on audio or what?

We had three shooters for this. Myself (first shooter) and the second shooter both did sound, so no one was dedicated to audio. Preps was all on-camera mics, but we always try to stay close to the source to get the best audio. For the ceremony we double laved the groom and laved the minister; we also recorded a feed from the sound board, but all we got was music since they sent us the wrong signal, so the lavs did the trick. For the reception, we setup a mic stand with a lav + audio recorder on it, and attached the DJ mic. We plugged into the board and didn't have any issues with it, so ended up using that feed in the edit.

Picture Profile was Wide DR with +3 in-camera Noise Reduction and occasional adjustments to the white balance shift when needed. Color correction was done with Magic Bullet Colorista, mostly adjusting the blacks, mid-tones, highlights, exposure, contrast, saturation, and color wheels.

Yes the sound was great! But the mix in the story for me was the best most artistic part. Would have liked a few wider shots, so many close ups! Really nice.
