What is Barry's COLOUR scene file?

i like the colors, great california look and feel to it. =)
did you choose to underexpose those shots for the darker look?
if the video is supposed to be more about the feel of California, then i think it totally works. but if its supposed to be more about the skaters, i think it was too dark.
my only comment would be to try setting exposure manually.
it looks like you have iris set to auto because the exposure is optimized for the overall picture, keeping the sky from blowing out, but often leaving a lot of the subjects in dark shadow.
maybe you did this on purpose, but if not, you might want to try a different approach and see if you like the look. personally, i would liked to have been able to see faces more clearly.
i like to zoom in on my subject before hitting record, hit the iris button to let the camera set exposure, then switch back to manual iris, locking exposure, by pressing the iris button again.
then i set focus and zoom out to my desired frame.
while i often have to sacrifice the highlights, i've been much happier having my subjects perfectly exposed and visible. =)

Its one of the scene files which came with Barry's book.
That was the look I tend to go for but I over did it in places. I will take what you say on board. I do use manual all of the time.
