Hey Jim,
Now that things are moving along I would like to make a suggestion:
Please lose the 4 pieces of metal that are sticking out on all four corners of the camera on cage one. They make the camera too wide and this is going to cause trouble with things like Jib arms.
The "cage" is a good idea.. But I think it still needs work so as to not take up so much real estate. Also, those sharp corners are begging for a operator to hurt.. Everything needs to be rounded.
