So... I was on a shoot and the camera died. Turns out it can be powered from internal batteries but the DC 'in' is malfunctioning. Does anyone have a Canon C500 with a DC out I could test please? CVP don't have an old C500 power unit and tell me they'd need to send it off to Canon for 2 weeks which is 2 weeks I can't afford to be without it...
I literally just need to plug it in to a DC port to see if the DC port is still working.
I'm based in either St Leonards (near Hastings) or London depending on the day. I'm up in London tomorrow, incidentally...
