C300: C300mk3 top handle recommendations?

Looking for something as light as possible (I keep my rig rather simple due to shooting mostly handheld run and gun travel gigs) I screw the monitor right into the camera's built in top plate. It would be great to have a top handle that could attached to the center screws without impeding the mounting of the monitor on those peripheral screw holes being used by the mic mount and monitor mount.

If i used a cold shoe mounted top handle, would the cameras cold shoe support the cameras weight? Not sure if that mount is intended to support the weight of the camera. My guess is no. Any way to get a top handle on the c300mk3 without a cheese plate?

I doubt anyone is following along here, but in case someone is in the same boat of needing a top handle but wanted to be as small and light as possible: I found this item from SmallRig. Beefy enough for c300, the speed and ease of the nato system, and now I don't need to get a top plate.

Here's my quick and cheap lightweight handheld set-up using a nato rail and two nato handles. I only put this together as a short term option as I intended to build something more robust but even when I've had lots of additional accessories on there it's been surprisingly solid and has taken some abuse on fast moving productions:





Everything attached to the camera is SmallRig, except for the velcro and camera tape

I use the Zacuto Recoil handle and the Tactical handle.
