C300: C300mark2 issue with CZ EF lenses

I have my C300makr2 for a week now, very happy with it.
A strange thing however, used my CZ EF 15 en 50 mm on my first C300, on this mark2 version they don't work, tried them on another C300mark2 with same result. I tried on the 18 en 35 from the same series, they do work.Strange.

You then need to get your lens firmware updated. Using a third party lens is always a challenge because cameras are going to have new firmware and backward compatibility with all third party lenses doesn't happen. If you ask Canon (or for that matter any camera company) they will tell you to go to the lens company service centre to get that updated.

Can anyone confirm if the autofocus on the Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 works properly on the C300 Mark II?

I haven't tried the 18-35/1.8 Art yet, but here's what I've tried so far of Sigma lenses on C300mk2:

24-35/2.0 Does NOT work at all on C300mk2, no iris control or info on LCD about f stop, no focus assist, lens stuck wide open at f2.0, (lens works fine on C300mk1 incl DP autofocus)
35/1.4 works fine, incl Peripheral & CA correction.
50/1.4 works fine, incl Peripheral & CA correction.
50-150/2.8 OS works fine, incl Peripheral & CA correction.

Response from Sigma support in regards to the Sigma 24-35/2.0 not working at all on the C300mk2:

"Unfortunately we do not test our lenses with the Canon Cinema cameras, these are unsupported products and we are unable to guarantee the fit and function of our products with them."

Tried the Sigma 18-35/1.8 Art today on C300mk2. Works fine, incl Peripheral & CA correction.
AF seems to work pretty smoothly, incl Face Detection.

With the caveat that Sigma does not test or support their lenses to work on Canon Cinema EOS cameras.

And just because I also tested a 2nd copy of the 24-35/2.0. Same result. Does not work at all.
