C300: C300 on glidecam hd4000

hello

I wonder if any of you C300 owners/renters are using that Glidecam hd400 or any similar device with your c300? i ve never used anything like that yet, not even with dslr. My most concern is the weight.... i wonder if its possible to hold it at all? i am not very muscle guy, so it kind of bothers me...., as always nothing locally is available so in order to try it i will have to buy it 1st! i ve seen one clip online where the guy used it with c300... and it was nice, but i d like to hear about how hard it is to "fly" with that thing when c300 is on top of it?

as far as i understand operators prefer to use very wide lenses with things like that, probably because its just easier to focus, and less stabilization issues.. but maybe there is something else to thin about?

Its possible but I would not recommend it. It is too heavy to shoot for long durations of time without an arm.
There are some steadicam shots in the first 15 seconds of this retail POP video that I did last month on the HD4000

Since it was a full day I could only use the steadicam sparingly, otherwise it would have drained my stamina. Wide angles are more preferable because the sway of poor operation is less noticeable.
 
ok, thank you guys for the info!

i wonder what would be an option to use kind of similar device for these special fluid shots, but that is not crazy expansive? what would u recommend?
