Yesterday this happened to me:
The camera gave low battery warning, we was in the middle of an an answer in the interview, I looked at the gold mount battery LED and it indicated 25% left. I felt that was plenty to finish the answer. 1 minute later the camera just shut it self off. With 25% still on the battery.
I have 6 of these gold mount batteries and this have never happened before. I used them extensively on the mk2 without any issues.
I was able to recover the clip thankfully. When I got home I tested another battery and it indicated full charge, the camera, without recording died after 2-3 minutes every time on that battery. I wanted to check, what Ah is recommended for the camera and the external battery?
Hopefully this is a battery issue rather then camera issue.
