C300: C300 MKii with Impulz LUTS

C log 2 seems to work great with the Arri Log luts, but there's nothing from IMPULZ that works on Clog3. Any users have suggestions of LUTS to get started with Clog 3? The canon ones look so un-filmic that they're a writeoff.

As an aside, I love this camera, exposing WAY right with clog 2 is incredible. Just don't try and expose the way you used to (to protect highlights), cause it's very noisy underexposed.

Hi Callan, did you find any good lut for Clog3!? or anybody here have experience with clog3 and luts to start with?
Thanks

This is my workflow for CLog3.
Production:
Turn on the C300 MKII internal LUT for monitor out, viewfinder & proxy record.
From the monitor out view the signal via waveform and expose as though rec709 - protecting the highlites below 90ire.
View the waveform in the camera (which is not affected by the internal LUT) and take notes to where it falls, usually 64ire for peak whites and also take notes to the internal exposure guide - usually 1 tick to the right over center.

Post:
Download both Canon XF Utility and C300 MKII Luts.
Add the luts to your NLE or Davinci Resolve (for Premiere they have to be adjusted in a text editor)
In Resolve apply the LUT (usually Clog3 to Rec 709 WDR) to your last node 1st <multiple nodes - last node>
In Premiere add that same LUT in Lumetri "Basic"
Your camera original will absolutely POP with rich blacks & correct hues.

Note: The XF Utility auto applys the LUT when viewing media - great for checking exposure continuity on the fly.
