C300: C300 mkii RAW with Audio? + internal recording?

Hi Everyone

Quick question

Does the C300 mkii record CDNG along with audio from both Xlr inputs?

Also does it record internally at the same time as 4k raw out sdi?

The C300 II outputs RAW via the external SDI connector(s). It's up the the external recorder how audio is recorded along with the RAW video. From page 165 of the C300 II manual:

During 4K RAW output, the audio output signal will be 2-channel linear PCM audio (16-bit, 48 kHz sampling). We recommend using instead the 4-channel linear PCM audio (16- or 24-bit sampling) that is recorded in the camera with the primary clips or proxy clips.

So you can record proxies with full quality audio internally while the RAW is being recorded externally. It appears in all cases both XLR inputs are available.
