C300: C300 MKII LCD module drooping

Hey everyone! Any ideas on how to tighten down the LCD so it doesn't droop to one side? It's pretty severe, giving the illusion that none of my shots are level haha

I have the same problem, especially with a microphone attached. I guess there's no solution other than not using the monitor for framing but instead using another monitor.

The stock handle and mic holder are terrible. I recommend something like the movcam top handle or something with top rods you can build off of. Small rig makes a cold shoe vise that attaches to 15mm rods. That's what I've been using successfully. Mounting the lcd from bottom cold foot, as pictured, helps to reduce that sag to the xlr side.

I use a second cold shoe vise and rode shock mount on the right side of the camera to bring the weight more center of the camera.

Be careful you don't crank the LCD unit tightening screw down too hard....there are 4 little locating pins at the bottom that can get damaged and if they do, the whole thing will be even looser......

Just ran into this issue as well. Brand new camera. Fascinatingly annoying. Will update if I come up with a fix.
