C300: C300 MKII + Canon 35mm F2 IS?

I've got this combo. It works pretty well. I've noticed that the AF is a bit louder and slower than some of my other lenses. Could just be my copy though...

The 24mm 2.8 IS works really well and is almost silent.

FWIW, I recently used my 28mm 1.8 on the 80D on the Zhiyun Crane for a shoot. The lens worked fine but the focusing was really noisy and relatively slow compared to an STM lens. Workable but not ideal. That taught me that for a camera with face tracking like the C200, you really want an STM lens whenever possible. The camera's on-board audio was totally noisy with the focusing motor sounds.

Longing for a nice wide STM lens for my 1DXMKII on the Movi, doesn't exist yet though. The 35 is a little noisy, I prefer the 17-55 which is virtually silent.

The EOS 10-18 STM IS F4.5-5.6 is a slow, cheap lens that actually looks pretty good but you'd have to shoot S35 mode, not FF.
