C300: C300 MKII Battery Charger

Somebody please tell me there is another (much smaller) charger out there. This thing takes up way too much space in my travel kit. It is beyond massive.

Then it's time to ask the 3rd party battery companies to make a BP-A60 equivalent with a 14.4V power tap for the Canon C300mk2; with an accompanying charger. :)

These guys make great chargers - Dolgin Engineering. You should check with them.

All multi-bay are simultaneous. I have a 4-bay for C300 batteries and a 2-bay for 5DSR batteries. Not the cheapest but great quality metal builds. If you change cameras/batteries in the future they'll swap out the bays for whatever you need for a small fee. So, somewhat future proofed.

B&H sells some of their products.

I find it a bit funny.....for a long time, people have been asking for a dual charger and now we get one.....I'm not making fun of you but it is interesting....also, a major battery company is making chargers (dual) and batteries for the C300 MK II and they should be out soon.....

I can see how the dual charger is perfect for many situations but as traveler working with a stripped down crews, or none at all, the big charger is a pain in the butt as I'm already lugging 4 bags of 120lbs of gear on my own.

Jim we are all Divas! It's nice having a duel at home. But my flying kit is tight. Every inch and ounce thought out. Options is all us Divas's are asking for.
While asking for options, I'm willing to pay hard cash money for someone to make cables with 90s and just long enough for the audio and video lines to the onboard to eliminate loops. Take my money.
I love the camera. Just little things to make it even better.

I love having simultaneous charging but it does take a lot of space in my bag. Would be nice to have a single bay charger for travel.

Jim,

Any idea if these will be batteries with a D-TAP connection in them? Now that we're on a 14.4v battery system, it seems it would make sense.

I'd take a regulated 12V output, but it seems it would make the most sense just to tap out the same voltage the battery feeds to camera. We shall see!

Any idea how this product is coming along? I can't seem to find anything online... Would love to have C300mk2 batteries that are BP-A60 equivalent (or slightly larger), but has a D-tap to power accessories. (Something to serve the need between BP-A30 with the lid closed and Anton Bauer on rods.)
