C300: c300 MKII and Monitor issues

I have the SmallHD 702 Touch Monitor to use with the Canon C300 Mk II. I connected the monitor to the camera using the HDMI but not getting any signal from the camera. Is there a setting inside the camera that needs to be activated to have the monitor work with it? The monitor keeps saying: NO HDMI VIDEO thanks
