C300: C300 MK3 replacement parts - rubber flaps?

Hi all

I've lost a few of the rubber flaps/covers that protect the ports on the c300 body. I've been searching online for a list of replacement part names + where to order them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Canon calls those "terminal covers." Maybe send support/repair at your regional Canon division (ie- Canon USA) a note. Seems like such a low-risk installation  that they'd sell you the rubber parts directly. Overall, I've had good experiences with Canon support. Or if they won't sell to you, I'd guess your dealer can order them. https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/service-repair

I guess that's all obvious, but perhaps the "terminal covers" term will help your search... Good luck.

Your dealer has access to schematics with the C300 Mark III part numbers for ordering.

Contact your dealer that sold the C300 Mark III to you to special order the cosmetic parts from Canon USA.

Canon USA Cinema EOS Service will not sell parts directly to end users.

I called Canon, got through to someone and they absolutely DID sell me those terminal covers. They're expensive for what they are, but they sold me the two that I'd lost directly.

I've never found terminal covers to be of much use. Some people actually remove them because they get in the way. Also depends on what type of work. I film 99% indoors when it's not in use it's in a camera bag.

I lost the HDMI cover. My dealer sent me one but it did cost a fortune for what it is. I’m shooting a lot in dusty fields and it makes sense to have those but I do better take care now.

The smaller the part the more expensive. The pricing on these things is always a shock. For example on my Manfrotto boom pole at the end there's a bolt used to secure lights and mics mounted on 5/8 stud. How much?... over $40. So I went to hardware store and bought a M8 bolt for $1.41
