Need PL version plus EF collar lock. Regular EF not adequate. Hope the PL delivers before end of year.
 
Thank you Jim. Last piece in the puzzle is whether Canon will allow rental houses to change mounts on the Mark II. My last inquiry to Canon didn't yield an answer.
 
From what I understand (and this is not official), the program will be something like this....you take the camera to Canon Service and pay them for the mount and change it. They will give you the old mount and just charge you labor to change it again....I think they will do this with the qualified rental houses too....I expect more details soon.

Jim, rental houses need to be able to change the mounts ourselves. $16K is too much these days to have a one mount camera in inventory.
