C300: C300 Mark 2 battery life

Hello everyone,

Battery life is a very important parameter. What is the BP-A30 and BP-A60 battery life for C300 Mark 2 ? Is there a difference in battery life when you shoot 4K or FullHD ?

Here are the recording times for the bp-a30:
  • Approximate continuous recording time with fully-charged battery pack:
    • 4K recording @29.97P: 125 minutes
    • 4K recording @25.00P: 130 minutes
    • 2K recording @59.94P: 115 minutes
    • 2K recording @50.00P: 120 minutes

And the bp-a60 should give you about double the time.
 
I find that fan speed/auto focus/monitor ports have more to do with power consumption. Overall though the larger on board batteries pack a lot of power. I can go a whole day using no more than two if I'm conservative on monitor outputs.
 
Last Sat, I did a whole day of run and gun mainly using DAF for on the spot interviews and I definitely noticed a difference.
