C300: C300 M2 Grip Nipple functionality

On my C100, I was able to use the grip nipple to bring up quick access to WB/ISO/Shutter on the LCD. Is there anyway to do this with the c300m2?? I have a Zacuto recoil and I really miss being able to change this on the fly without having to use the assignable buttons. I dug through the menu and could not find a way to activate this. Am I missing something??

I believe this is a common gripe amongst those transitioning from a C100 to a C300 (mark I or mark II) - unfortunately pressing the nipple does nothing on a C300, despite numerous requests from users to implement this.

:embarasse That really sucks. Using a grip re locator and that option would be amazing. I shot some run and gun stuff today and realized how much it is missed. Seems like a pretty easy function being that the nipple select does nothing at all.

I guess it's my duty to call out band names since I primarily only work with musicians. So....there is is...band name..."Grip Nipple."
Well done sir.

This was my first complaint using the c300 mkii, coming from mainly using the c100 so I was forced to use the buttons and rotary dials on the operator side to change iris/wb/iso/shutter. I shortly discovered that once your muscle memory is up to speed, you can change settings much faster this way than the nipple method, so I haven't missed it since. Give it a shot- hit Iso and rotate the big dial... It's much faster. However it would be nice for canon to implement it for those that prefer it

The [Func.] Option located in the menu under assignable buttons should be the option assigned. The new firmware will allow magnification during recording, so maybe canon will activate the nipple button to be assignable. If this is the case, then one could set the [Func.] for that button.

Shoulder mounted with a grip re-locator combined run and gun work would be soooo much easier with this function. ok, ok.. I done bitching about it. :Drogar-Mad(DBG)::Drogar-Mad(DBG):
